PLURALS - Documentation
=========================
Files used:- PLURALS.EXE
PLURALS.DAT
PLURALS.DOC (This file)
The game of PLURALS is intended to help children with their
understanding of words. In it they are presented with a word and
they have to type in the plural of that word.
Each game consists of 10 such words and they are presented with
their score out of 10.
PLURALS is intended to form part of a suite of programs called WORD
GAMES. However it can be run on its own by switching to the
directory PLURALS and typing PLURALS at the > prompt.
The data used by PLURALS is held in the ASCII file PLURALS.DAT.
Being a simple ASCII file it can be amended with a word processor
or editor running in the ASCII mode.
The form of the data file is as follows:-
First line contains number of pairs of words in the file.
This is followed on the next line by a word with its plural on
the following line. This pattern is repeated throughout the file.
The length of the words must not exceed 17 characters.
You are free to copy and distribute this program either on its own
or with the rest of the programs in the suite. However, please
include this document with the copy:
If you like the program/suite of programs and/or make a copy, it
would be appreciated if you could send a donation of £5.00 to me:

software for the PC. Also, any comments or suggestions would be
most welcome as this feedback is always
useful.
